NASA  revealed that they have discovered a significant amount of water on the moon.  The discovery came on Friday, November 13, after testing of samples of debris created when one of their satellites impacted the  lunar surface.  The Lunar Crater Observation  and Sensing Satellite (LCROSS) was intentionally crashed into the Cabeus crater.  A rocket with special sensing equipment flew through the debris field created by the impact.  The purpose of the mission was to find water on the moon, at a cost of 79 billion dollars.  This new information is a welcomed discovery that scientists think  will help researchers develop a better understanding of the history of the geology of our solar system.  NASA also believes that this discovery is a big step in launching future manned missions to the moon, and possibly Mars.

has 21 member nations, and represents
approximately 50% of the world's economic
output.  Obama have assured the member
nations that the United States did not
intend to stifle the economic growth of the
region.
